I've thought this for a quite a while actually, glad you've mentioned it. You'll see in interviews occasionally he'll slightly glass over as if he can suddenly hear colours. This is a message from quantum space telling him Matheus Nunes can't play in the middle.
Well those last couple of lines in the article haven’t aged well. I wonder if Pep is trying to get sacked and be paid off before the 115 stuff comes to a head.
What if... one day the job of reacting to tactical situations like this becomes crowd-sourced? Tacticians like Adam and fans watching from the couch can collectively suggest solutions to a team, LIVE, and AI can aggregate it all, and serve it up to the management team, LIVE? Would that be a game changer for fan involvement/interaction for live games? Would that be a good (billion dollar) business opportunity? Would that make a super intelligence that finally and consistently beats Pep?
Also, I want to see Adam as a manager to go against Pep and win.
Now *there's* a social experiment you could very easily see 10 dads in a pub label "the death of the game".
As weird as it might be I'd actually love to see what would happen if you had a team set up by some sort of AI. Like the football version of Supercomputer vs Chess Nerd.
There is a perfectly simple explanation for this.
Pep is gazing out into the astral plane rather than watching the football game playing out in front of him.
That’s where he gets his tactics from.
Obviously.
